TACLOBAN CITY, April 11 (PNA) – The Philippine
National Police (PNP) regional office here has started screening the online
applications of some 1,020 junior police officers in line with the 2017
recruitment program allocated for Eastern Visayas.
Chief Supt Elmer C. Beltejar, PNP Eastern Visayas
regional director, said on Tuesday that the online recruitment is the first
time in the history of the PNP. He added this will ensure that the database of
those who applied is readily available.
The 800 quota is allocated exclusively for Public
Safety Forces while the remaining 220 is allotted for the attrition quota.
Applicants are advised to access these two websites
-- www.pnporas.pnpdprm.com and www.recruitment.pnpdrpm.com. The websites will
be active until April 28, 2017.
The minimum requirements for the police officer
recruitment are printed letter-
reply/corresponding reference number confirming
the scheduled appointment; two recent colored 1”x1” ID pictures with white
background and complete name tag; transcript of scholastic record with special
order issued by the Commission on Higher Education or diploma, and birth
certificate issued by the local civil registrar or Philippine Statistics
Authority.
The applicants must pass the psychiatric, drug and
physical tests to be administered by the PNP; must be 21 to 30 years old; must
have no pending criminal case or criminal conviction; and must be civil service
