CATBALOGAN
CITY, Samar, Aug. 20 (PNA) - The Philippine Military Academy (PMA) will conduct
its entrance examination on Aug. 21 at the Samar State University (SSU) here.
Applicants
to the academy must be a natural-born Filipino citizen, at least five feet in
height for both male and female, physically fit and of good moral character,
single and has never been married, a high school graduate on or before 2015, no
administrative or criminal case, must pass the PMA entrance exam, and should
have been born from April 1, 1995 to April 1, 2000.
Before the
exam, an information drive will be conducted at the SSU; Samar College in
Catbalogan; Northwest Samar State University in Calbayog City; Eastern Samar
State University in Borongan City; and University of Eastern Philippines in
Catarman, Northern Samar.
Walk-in
applicants will be accepted at the SSU Mercedes Campus here on the afternoon of
August 20
.
They are
required to bring a photocopy of the certificate of live birth, Form 137 or
transcript of records of secondary schooling or college, 2x2 latest picture,
valid ID card, two pencils, and eraser.
On Aug. 21,
processing will start at 7 a.m. and end at 11 a.m. in the same school. In the
afternoon, the PMA Cadetship Qualifying Test will start at 1 p.m. and end at
4:35 p.m.
Successful
applicants will compose the PMA Class of 2021 who will be officially received
at the Academy in an oath-taking ceremony and reception rites on April 1, 2017.
