ORMOC CITY, Leyte, Jan. 5 (PNA) -
The city chief executive here lauded all local government workers for soundly
carrying out their functions in the past year.
During the first meeting with city
government employees for 2016 on Tuesday, Mayor Edward C. Codilla commended
them for overcoming inevitable circumstances and challenges last year.
He specially mentioned the
Philippine National Police (PNP) for maintaining peace the whole year and
throughout yuletide season where no report of unpleasant incidence surfaced.
Also extolled was the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) for the quick response in
the recent fire in Lilo-an village Sunday morning.
The mayor’s short message did not
spare those less performing personnel. They were praised by pushing to oblige
themselves of sharing efforts to attain the city goals and deliver excellent
services to the clients. (PNA)
