DTI Leyte opens discount caravan in Tacloban

TACLOBAN CITY, May 16 (PNA) -– The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Leyte provincial office in coordination with the city government here has opened its three-day diskwento caravan “Balik Eskwela Edition” on Monday at the Rizal Park here.

School supplies, school shoes and uniforms, including basic goods and prime commodities are available to buyers at discounted prices.

Among the participating local distributors in this three-day sale are Hanz Graphics, National Bookstore, Unitop, 578 Resources, Fast Distribution Corporation, Dranix Distribution, River Valley Distribution Inc., The Bee Trading and Sheridan Marketing.

DTI has also set up a consumer welfare desk and provide information materials to increase the awareness of consumers of their rights and responsibilities.
