DTI to hold ‘Diskwento Caravan’ in Tacloban

TACLOBAN CITY, April 29 (PNA) -– The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Leyte provincial office will conduct a Diskwento Caravan (discount caravan) Balik Eskwela (back to school) edition on May 18 to 20 at the Rizal Park, this city.

School supplies, school shoes and uniforms, including basic goods and prime commodities will be sold to consumers at discounted prices.

Among the local distributors that will join in this three-day sale are Hanz Graphics, National Bookstore, Unitop, 578 Resources, Fast Distribution Corporation, Dranix Distribution, River Valley Distribution Inc., The Bee Trading and Sheridan Marketing.

DTI will also set up a consumer welfare desk and provide information materials to increase the awareness of consumers of their rights and responsibilities.

DTI Leyte provincial director Desiderio P. Belas Jr. is inviting everyone to take this opportunity to come and visit this Diskwento Caravan “Balik Eskwela Edition” which will be open from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. and get the best value of their money. (PNA)
